Bike Essentials 101: Get Comfortable on your Bike
Discomfort on the bike is one of the biggest barriers to cycling. Beginners are often intimidated by the small and hard-looking saddles, the thin bike shorts, and aggressive riding positions. It’s true - with the wrong setup, you can end up with saddle sores, numbness, back pain, neck knots, etc. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
In this workshop, we will be reviewing some ways to make riding more comfortable. We will talk abot saddles, cycling shorts, gloves, bike adjustments and more!

In this workshop, we will be demonstrating the best ways to keep your bike and drivetrain clean, and how to prevent and protect your bike too.
This Workshop is a demonstration only, there will be no hands-on training. This workshop is by Donation. All proceed go to The Table.

Bike Essentials 102: Making Minor Adjustments
Being able to make minor adjustments on your bike will help you to optimize bike performance, and keep you and your bike in the best riding condition between your professional bike maintanance visits.
The gears and brakes of most bikes use cables. Unfortunately, these cables stretch and wear with time, causing a reduced braking and rough bike shifting. In this workshop, we will review how barrel adjusters work, and how to adjust them with confidence. We will also review other adjustment points, such as stem, handlebar, saddle, and seatpost.
This is a a by donation Demo-only workshop. All Donations go directly to The Table. For more hands on experiences, please see website.
