Building the Website

After the rush of the Christmas season, I can finally sit down and put this thing together. And with the 20 cm of snow that just fell, I kinda feel like hibernating inside. So, where to start? We decided to build our website with Squarespace. They offer beautiful designs and seem pretty "easy" to put together.

I chose the Fulton Template because I love the comprehensive, streamlined and innovative Index Page. Squarespace also offers the option of a Cover Page, which I set up as a temporary Home page to begin our online presence. Im pretty pleased with the result, check it out. The index page was a little more complicated to set up, but with some help from the Squarespace Help Pages, I created a very attractive Home Page, check it out

Ive set up a few other pages with some difficulty. Squarespace keeps refreshing and losing some content. Its been pretty frustrating, but I've learned to save my content very, very often. I finally found a great website that has helped me to organize the pages and content of the website: Mike's Bike Tours out of Amsterdam.  The deadline Ive set for the website is February 1st. Fingers and toes are crossed for a website launch for February 7th.
